OUTLINE OF THE CENTER
The Personal Import Information Center was established in 1994 by
the Japan Customs Brokers Association to support personal importers.
The Center helps those who would like to import goods for personal use without going through airport customs procedures and also　provides information about import clearance procedures and related trade matters.

APPLICATION
Importers are kindly requested to complete the application form, being sure to include their name, seal or signature, address, and telephone & fax numbers, and to send it together with such relevant papers as the invoice, packing list, and airway bill to the Center by fax or mail.　The Center will
then　introduce the importer to a customs broker who will perform the
customs clearance procedures at a fee (\4,500 per entry) and deliver the

APPLICABLE GOODS
There are some limitations on the goods for which this service is applicable.
The goods must be only for personal use and arrive at Narita Airport
excluding unaccompanied goods, express parcels and other similar items.
